Debates

2004年9月30日22時18分

Are any of you planning on watching the debates (or did you watch them if you catch this later)? I would like to watch them, but I don’t think that getting up at 10am to do so is worth it. It isn’t like there is a point in me voting for the presidency anyway. No matter what I do, my state’s votes (kaleeFORnya) will be going to Kerry. This being said, I like the debate agreement, especially how all questions must be rhetorical and neither is allowed to specifically address anyone in the audience.

In other news, an India paper’s English translation division is sure to become the butt of many jokes.

More Innocence

There were too many confused people in the movie theater when I went to see Innocence. Admittedly, I’ve wached Ghost in the Shell at least 20 times; but I felt like I had a pretty firm grasp on the film after the first couple of watchings. I’ve also watched the 26-episode Stand Alone Complex series a couple of times through now, so I guess you could say I’ve had more than just a primer into the Ghost in the Shell Universe. That’s fair. Regardless, I don’t think the sequel is really that difficult to process on its own.

The Twilighting Middle Class

2004年9月22日21時50分

The middle class is shrinking…unsurprisingly The Times and CBS think that is a bad thing. In fact, the middle class is shrinking because they are all moving to the upper class.

Liberal Lies

I hope Dan Rather goes down for trying to pull the same sort of stunt Nixon did. How fitting that the thing which made Rather famous shall be the instrument of his and perhaps his company’s downfall.
