Japanese Are Racist: Reason 431
2005年1月28日17時29分So my roommate Adam has his bike stolen. Is this first question you ask, “Did you stop locking your bike because you’re lazy? (yes)” or, “Do you live near Russians?”

Iwan Negro, project sales manager of the SolarSeek project, has injected new life into the project. His insistence has convinced me to continue with the project. Since I don’t have that much time, I’m opening the source up and placing the project onto sourceforge as soon as possible. Check the project page for more information.
The United States is not the only “developed” country that allows capital punishment. Japan just sentenced one Chinese man to death for the murder of a Japanese family. Interestingly, China cooperated in sending the two murders back to Japan after the fled home to China, although they do not have extradition treaties. Go China.
Japan is also going to cease paying families for enslaving the people of Asia as prostitutes.
I saw something on TV about a battle involving the homeless in Tokyo and riot police, but something reflecting purely negatively on the country is naturally not in the English paper. Ask most students and they say people are homeless and unemployed “by choice”–”Think of how busy we all are. Now imagine never having to work again”.
As not stated ealier, I finally found my PSP at Tsutaya near Yamada Denki awhile back. I bought ã¿ã‚“ãªã®ã‚´ãƒ«ãƒ• and ä¸‰åœ‹ç„¡åŒ (Dynasty Warriors, [Three Countries; No Twin]). The golf game is fun, but I’ve yet to find anyone else to play with, the main attraction of the game. Instead I took out Dynasty Warriors Portable and now use it to study Japanese. The game has tons of Kanji, and so whenever I play a game, I make sure to read all the kanji I find important, and expand what I thought was important from before.
The downside is that I learn highly useful words like: Tsukiei’s Battalion has entered battle (月英è»å›£ãŒæˆ¦é—˜ã‚’開始)! and “the vice general has died in battle!” (副将ãŒæˆ¦æ»).
I highly recommend you see it. It reminds me very much of Japan. I am Nicole Kidman and the Japanese people make up the inhabitants of Dogville. The ending is so amazingly brilliant and rewarding it makes up for the agony of the rest of the film.
Man, when I wrote that comment earlier, I did not realize it was going to become such a mini-scandal (I should have known better)! Anyway, the almighty Slate gives its opinion:
“[T]he best signal to send to talented girls and boys is that science isn’t about respecting sensitivities. It’s about respecting facts. The only people who don’t belong in science, male or female, are those who would rather close their eyes—and yours—than see what’s there.”
I couldn’t agree more. It reminds me of the facts Davis High (didn’t) teach me about HIV and AIDS.

I have been doing (more) research on color theory and I also ran across an amazing site for textures. With those powers combined with my newly improved CSS skillz, we have the present look. Do you like?

Here are some paper textures courtesy google.
