What?? What is wrong with the world? First a bunch of muslim lunatics bomb Europeans and their property because someone drew a picture of Muhammad with a bomb on his head. Now China has banned all movies that mix live action and animation.
China has announced a ban on TV shows and movies that blend animated elements with live-action actors, a move aimed at nurturing local animators and apparently curbing the use of foreign cartoons.
Who knew that cartoons were such an important and inflammatory subject! It is unacceptable that the communist government feels it must dictate whether its subjects may watch Who Framed Roger Rabbit? All this in the name of protectionism.
The cartoon ban is intended to “promote the development and prosperity of the cartoon industry in China,” said the statement issued by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.
